Las Vegas is a city that’s not exactly known as a hotbed of the arts. Gambling, booze, debauchery and fun? Yes. A thriving film scene? Not so much. But there is one film festival that takes place there every year called Cinevegas. It just wrapped up for 2009, but not before the premiere of a film called “All In: The Poker Movie” that many are calling the best poker movie since Rounders.
It’s a documentary featuring interviews with dozens of players including all the big pros like Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, Daniel Negreanu, Scotty Nguyen and tons of others. It delves deep into the history of poker, and what makes it such an exciting and popular game.
It doesn’t have a theatrical release date quite yet but look for it on DVD coming soon. In the meantime, if you’re up for some poker action, look no further than our huge selection of exciting and jackpot-filled video poker games.
